The Kentucky flag was adopted in 1918 and consists of the Seal of the Commonwealth, encircled by a wreath of goldenrod, on a field of navy blue. The first Kentucky flags were designed and made by Jessie Cox, a Frankfort art teacher.

At Crestwood Festival this year, members of the South Oldham Lions Club will sell two types of raffle tickets:
$5.00 per chance for a 50/50 payout with a minimum of $1,000 giveaway and a possible giveaway of $5,000 if all 2,000 tickets are sold. The drawing will be held at the conclusion of Festival.
$1.00 per chance on a variety
All proceeds from the raffles will benefit the charitable programs of the South Oldham Lions Club.
