Ms Burke was accompanied by her parents Ellie & Jim and sister Cherie. Charis, a SOHS Senior, expressed a sincere thank you to the Club for her Scholarship, and plans to attend the University of Louisville and major in Business. Please join them at the first annual OCDFS Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's in LaGrange. This event will be held on Saturday, August 20th from 8-10 am. Tickets are $5 each and include all you can eat pancakes and coffee, tea, milk or orange juice. Besides getting a yummy breakfast, you'll be helping us fund more scholarships. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or from an OCDFS board member.
Additionally, we'd like you to consider helping us spread the word by posting the attached flyer at your business or any other location you feel might be appropriate--perhaps including in your newsletters? If you'd like to sell some tickets for us at your organization, let us know and we'll get some to you. We get proceeds from each ticket sold (and if a ticket is sold and the person that purchased the ticket doesn't attend, we get all the proceeds). Help us spread the word about our event--and plan to attend and bring family & friends. You can also join us on Facebook and post a link on your Facebook account.
